Fuse Systems
- Design and support of fuze research & development experiments
- Setup and operation of powder guns (50-caliber to 8-inch howitzer)

Aerial Targets and Control Systems
- Serve as the primary technical interface for subscale target and target control systems with the
53rd Weapons Evaluation Group (53 WEG) at Tyndall AFB.
- Provide support for the new AF Subscale Aerial Target (the BQM-167A) through Flight Performance
Demonstration and Force Development Evaluation in order to achieve an FY 06 IOC
- Support the SPO/53 WEG effort to create a target control system roadmap to achieve a realistic
and cost-effective upgrade for the Gulf Range Drone Control System
- Provide Configuration Management support for all Aerial Target Programs.
- Provide Data Management support for all Aerial Target Programs.
- Provide ATIMS Systems Administration support for over 66+ acquisition and sustainment programs
and over 1300 users.
B-2 Electronic Warfare
- Support the generation and testing of B-2 Mission Region Sets (MRS)
- Conduct stand-alone ZSR-63 (Threat Emitter Locator) system-level testing
- Perform AN/APR-50 system-level static/dynamic testing, data collection, reduction, and analysis
- Troubleshoot and resolve B-2 DMS and support test equipment anomalies
- Evaluate existing test methodologies and recommend alternatives to optimize system
performance and operational suitability
Integrated Base Defense Security Systems
- Participate as part of the Integrated Test Team to create and manage all Testing &
Evaluation (T&E) strategies.
- Provide flexible plans tailored to fit the needs of the acquisition programs and the time-sensitive
nature of operators' requirements.
- Develop evaluation procedures and testing strategies for newly-emerging technologies that
support the Common Operating Picture (COP) which integrates sensors and systems at all levels into a hierarchal
C2 (Command and Control) system. IBDC2 (Integrated Base Defense Command & Control).
- Define the scope and timeline for system evaluations and plans sufficiently early for adequate
time and resources for all T&E activities.
- Provide feasible testing options to meet finalized objectives, establish test support, data
collection and data analysis requirements.
- Perform actions necessary to develop the fundamental technology capability necessary for
integration of the battlespace: to interface man, machine, sensors and weapon systems in a seamless defense,
providing a collective view and unsurpassed information superiority to aid in the Air Forces’ ability to See First,
Understand First, and ultimately, Act First.
Insensitive Munitions
- Provide technical expertise in design, manufacturing, acquisition, logistics, test and weapon
procurement/fielding for nine separate tasks in XR, AGWS, AFRL.
- Support Acquisition/Logistics managers
- Acquire test hardware, manufacture test equipment, support test program
- Manage Munitions and GFE accounts
- Develop Technical Data and Bed down plans
- Manage Test JON, funding, munitions, munitions allocations, and shipments
High Explosive Research and Development (HERD)
- Provide Engineering Assistant support for the design, modification, and upgrade of unique systems
and equipment used in explosive operations at the HERD facility.
- Generate Auto-CAD (Computer Assisted Design) documentation for: process electrical distribution
and control planning; integration of programmable logic control with hydraulic, pneumatic and relay control systems;
one-time production of unique mechanical parts; and startup and post-startup systems management
Test Programming Support
- Determine technical and logistical requirements: prepare, review, validate, and coordinate test cost
estimates, statements of capability, test plans, test support plans, test concepts of operations, Methods of Test, and Test
Directives (TDs).
- Ensure plans for supporting tests fulfill requirements/objectives: monitor the progress, status, and results
of test projects and resolve issues which relate to overall planning and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with other agencies for testing at locations other than Eglin AFB
- Serve as a representative on master planning boards, technical program review boards, study groups,
and other conferences to refine test plans and to discuss policy, management, responsibility, test methods, facilities,
time-phasing, and technical capabilities.
Chicken Little Joint Project
- Lead Test Engineer for Captive Flight Tests against Chicken Little threat assets.
- Customers include AFRL Air-to-Ground Radar Imaging (AGRI) and the Night Vision lab Recognition of
Combat Vehicles (ROC-V).
- Lead T.E. for Chicken Little ongoing presence at the WTR.
- Support the 17th Fighter Weapons School, Red Flags, and the 422 Testing and Evaluation Squad with
static vehicles and convoys.
AFSOC DT&E Test Support
- Plan and execute testing of ALQ-196 modification installed on the MC-130E
- Support ground and flight tests of the new ALR-69A RWR system
- Monitor radar-site activity during flight test
- Analyze data from testing to verify the equipment meets the ORD
- Support the programming office in the reporting funding and activity
Air Force Integrated Collaborative Environment (AF-ICE)
- Establish a common infrastructure to share capabilities and resources in support of
multi-tiered warfighter capabilities.
- Leverage the collaborative environment to provide scalability, mixed fidelity, multi-site, and
new concept/legacy model capabilities.
- Military operations, government R&D, and industry participation.
- Support AF-ICE by integrating USAF weapon models into the FLAMES simulation
environment. Current focus is on the JDAM model variants. Goal is to populate a FLAMES model repository
here in XR that can be used on demand by both internal and external customers.
Air and Space Operations Center Weapon System
- Assist AFOTEC with program test objectives and requirements
- Assist AFOTEC with setting up an operational test environment
- Provide recommendations of communication requirements for the tests
- Provide recommendations for manpower required during system build
- Evaluate the build of the system
Integrated Cooperative Countermeasures Advanced Technology
- Provide Aircraft, Missile, and Flare Signature Measurements; reduce aircraft, sensor, rocket, mortar,
missile, and flare signature data from live fire and static fire tests
- Provide Modeling and Validation for Integrated Cooperative EW EO/IR Countermeasures
Advanced Technology and Proof of Concept Systems
- Provide systems test engineering services and software development support to ensure
successful integration of Tactical Aircraft Directed IRCM (TADIRCM) subsystems.
- Provide Cooperative Systems Test Engineering for the Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures
(IDECM) System
- Support and participate in design-control review boards (DCRB) and test calls and provide
consultation to NAVAIR, NAWCAD, NAWCWD China Lake, NAWC Point Mugu, and prime vendors/OEMs
- Provide updated versions of the legacy aircraft/hardware ICDs to prime vendors/OEMs
- Provide flight-test pod maintenance recommendations based on analysis of recent flight tests
- Provide Risk Reduction Engineering and support services
- AAR-47(V)2 Upgrade Performance and System Specification Support
- Perform sensitivity and warning time studies for AAR-47 legacy software
- Provide changes to AAR-47 legacy documentation in support of software upgrade(s) and
consolidate all AAR-47(V)2 event and background data for distribution to contractor developers in support
of a scheduled software update.
- Provide data reduction and analysis of AAR-47(V)2 background data provided by the Air Force,
background and Live-Fire event data
