ORION International Technologies has a legacy of high-quality, disciplined software systems development and maintenance.
ORION was independently assessed for its work at the Navy’s Atlantic Fleet Weapons Training Facility under the Software
Engineering Institute’s Software Capability Maturity Model at Level 3 (with most processes at or approaching Level 4).
Assessment at this level assures advanced capabilities and consistent processes in the development and maintenance of
complex computer software systems. Current and recent activities include:
|
|
|
- Develop advanced software codes to support research projects at Sandia National Laboratories and
Los Alamos National Laboratory
- Design and maintenance of a complex modeling and simulation framework
- Flight simulator systems integration for FAA and NASA under the Small Aircraft Transportation System
Program
- Software development/maintenance and network engineering in support of the Atlantic Fleet Weapons
Training Facility (AFWTF)
- Support to the Air Armament Center and Range Instrumentation System Program Office at Eglin AFB
- Development and integration of new and legacy software models and utilities for weapons analysis
and test planning
- Maintain the computerized configuration change process and tracking system
- Establish and maintain software libraries
